In response to blossoming cooperation between organizers of the Briarcliff and Lakeside cityhood movements, Rep. Scott Holcomb (D-DeKalb) has issued the following statement.
"I am pleased that the supporters of Briarcliff and Lakeside cityhood are beginning to work together and I encourage them to continue with that work, and for them to continue to work with the supporters of Tucker to resolve boundary issues. Over the last year and a half, I have advocated for a collaborative process that reflects the will of the people who live here. Reaching consensus locally should ensure that our community succeeds in getting what we want through the legislative process. That will be my goal in the upcoming session."
