Holcomb Elected To Democratic Caucus Leadership Position

State Rep. Scott Holcomb, D-Atlanta, has been named Minority Caucus Chief Deputy Whip, becoming part of the Democratic Party leadership team in the Georgia General Assembly.

The elections were held at the state capitol on Monday morning.

The Georgia House Democratic Caucus also elected a Minority Caucus Chairman, Vice Chairman, Secretary and Chief Deputy Whip.

Holcomb recently won re-election to the state House, defeating Republican challenger Chris Boedeker on Nov. 6.
