October 18, 2012
Atlanta, GA - Earlier today, State Representative Scott Holcomb, a 12 year military veteran who deployed overseas three times, was the subject of a false and malicious attack ad.
Army Veteran and Former U.S. Senator Max Cleland commended State Representative Scott Holcomb for his service to our nation and made the following statement condemning today's false political attack:
"Scott Holcomb is a veteran who has served this nation and state honorably as a soldier and State Representative. I will not be silent when his impeccable service record is falsely attacked by someone who never served in the military. His opponent is unworthy of public office and the Georgia Republican Party should disavow him."
